Graduation of our first Shoalhaven (Nowra) team

May 20, 2021

On Tuesday the 18th of May 2021, we celebrated the graduation of our very first Shoalhaven (Nowra) Bootcampers – Team 55.

The ceremony was held at the School of Arts in Nowra and we were honoured to be joined by special guests; The Hon. Shelley Hancock, Mayor Amanda Findley, Uncle Tom Moore, Ox Tools, our valued Steering Committee Members, Training Services NSW and the loved ones of our Bootcampers.

A massive shout out to Nowra’s first Ox Tools Golden Saw Award winner, Declan! Declan was voted by his peers for demonstrating the golden criteria: Respect, Positive Energy, Motivating Others, Reliability, and Takes Feedback and Implements Change. Thank you to Troy and Hamilton from Ox Tools for their generous donation of an apprentice starter tool kit for Declan.

We would also like to take this time to thank the amazing Nowra staff; Teagan, Matt, Andy, Mark, and Grant for their hard work and support of our Nowra Bootcampers. A special mention to Grant, who is based at our Western Sydney sites but has been travelling down to South Nowra to help build the site and kick off the first team. Grant was gifted with a hamper at Team 55’s graduation to thank him for his contribution to the Nowra site. Thanks again, Grant!

Our team at Productivity Bootcamp are so proud of the achievements of our very first Nowra graduates and we wish them the very best of luck as they enter the workforce.

We are so excited to continue empowering the youth at our new home in the Shoalhaven area!
